  	In 1812, Elizabeth’s sister Anna’s son Joseph was “brought to baptism by his uncle Israel And aunt Elizabeth Hatch”. Joseph was probably brought up by Israel & Elizabeth. Soon after Joseph’s birth, his father died and his mother remarried.
