 | Micajah Burress and Rachel McCoy Marriage Bond Know all men by those present that we Micajah Burris and John Louthan are held and firmly bound unto his Excellence the Governor of Virginia for the time being and his successors in the just and full sum of one hundred and fifty dollars current money to which payment held and truly to be made we bind one ?? our heirs and family by these present sealed with our seal and dated 13th day of October 1795.
The foundation(?) of this obligation is such that ? the above bound Micajah Burris hath this day obtained a license for his marriage with Rachel McCoy (jun?) Daughter of Rachel McCoy (?) Now(?) of these should be no legal cause to ?? the said marriage then their obligation to ?? Else to remain in ?? force of virtue in ?
