      E.T. Brown, Charles Townsley, James Belcher, John Upton, Jess Cabell, Will Rose, Robert Crocker, Tom Smith and W.E. Cook of the B.R.T at Hinton, accompanied the remains of B.G. Burress from Hinton to Graham and attended the funeral at the latter place yesterday.

      The funeral of B.G. Burress took place at Graham in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. The services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Davis and Mr. Steele. the following members of the Hinton Brotherhood of Train: L.F Cabell, C.L. Townsiev, I.P. Upton, B.F. Corker, W. Rose, O.P. White, R. Sensley and I.D. Wade, and a large delagation ofrom the Bluefield lodge attended. The Hinton lodge contributed a hansome floral brakewheel.

      Mr. Burress was aged 28 years, two months and seven days. He joined the Christian church in 1896 and has been a consistent member since. He loved railroading and thought he could do nothing else. He possessed a forgiving spirit and it did not matter what kind of treatment he received he could forgive and forget. He also possessed a spirit of giving and gave literally to all who were needy.
