Intelligence has been received that Thomas Strouth, one of the men sent to prison for the murder of George W. Ratliff, near Swords Creek last Summer, died at the State penitentiary of West Virginia a few days ago. John Brown, another of the men convicted of the same crime died at the same place about 3 months ago.
