  	Robert Lee Bandy, 84, of Route 1, Bandy, died Nov. 13, in an Abington Hosptial. His death was attributed to natural causes. He was a son of the late Thomas C. and Maggie Pruett Bandy. He was a native of Tazewell County and had lived most of his life at Dix Creek. He was a member of the Dix Creek Advert Christian Church where he had served as Sunday School superintendent and song leader for many years. He was a retired employee of the Pocahontas Fuel Co. Five brothers and two sister preceded him in death. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Ruth Sizemore of Bandy, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Nov. 15 at 11 am from Peery and St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell with the Rev. Carl Gross and the Rev. Leonard Lester officiating. Burial followed at the Grandview Memory Gardens on the Bluefield Tazewell Road. Nephews served as Pall bearers.
