      Mrs. Flora Mae Burress, 80, of 1335 Bland St. Bluefield, died Wednesday,Jan. 20 in a Bluefield hospital after a long illness. Born in Burkes Garden, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Minne Kitts Perdue.She was preceded in death by her husband Stewart Burress. Surviving aretwo daughters, Hazel Boyles of Charlotte, NC. and Mrs. Callie Boyles of Bluefield; seven grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; two brothers, Alex Perdue of Bluefield and Walter Perdue of Bluefield; and two sisters,Mrs.Tillie Belcher of California and Mrs. Marie Farley of Bluefield. Funeral services were conducted Friday at Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield,with Rev. Bill Baker officiating. Burial followed in Monte Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Brooks, Marvin Neal, Larry Perdue, GlenPerdue, Donald E. Bowling, Alfred L. Boyles, and Douglas D. Boyles.
