Szczepan Kornatowski Birth Record It happened in Grabienice on the twenty-third day of December in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty, 10AM. Appeared Ludwik Kornatowski, a farmhand from Wardezyn, twenty-six years old, in the presence of Marcin Batorski, a tenant from Smogulec, thirty years old, and Ignacy Kopaczewski, a farmer from Wardezyn, fifty years old, and presented to us a male child born in Wardezyn at house number 2, on the twenty-first day of the current month and year at 9am, of his wife Katarzyna n?e Wozniak, twenty years old. At the holy baptism, the child was given the name Szczepan, and his godparents were the aforementioned Marcin Batorski and Rozalia Witczak This act was read to the declarant and witnesses and, due to their illiteracy, was signed by us alone. |

Szczepan & Katarzyna Jasiecka Kornatowski Marriage It happened in Grabianice on the 31 of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight, at two in the afternoon. We make it known that in the presence of witnesses: Andrzej G_zniak?, fifty years old, and Jakub Kaczmarek, forty-five years old, both residing in Modlibogowicz, on this day a religious marriage was concluded between Szczepan Kornatowski, a carpenter, a bachelor, from Wielkopolska, born in Wardężyn, son of Ludwik and Katarzyna nee Wozniak Kornacki, day laborers residing in Wardężyn, currently living with his parents, twenty-seven years old, and Miss Katarzyna Janiszewska, a maiden, Catholic, daughter of Wojciech and Jadwiga nee Jaworska, both deceased, day laborer of Modlibogowice, raised there and residing there, also born in Modlibogowice, twenty-four years old. This marriage was preceded by three banns, announced to the people of Grabianice during religious services, in agreement with the government, published on three consecutive Sundays: the 11, 24, and 31 of December of the current year. The newlyweds declared that they had not entered into a prenuptial agreement. This record was read to those present and witnesses, who, being unable to write, had it signed by us alone |
