    Services for Mrs. Bertie Lee Smith, 78, Minden, will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in the Tyree Funeral HOme Chapel at Oak Hill with the Rev. Bill Menefee in charge. Burial will be in the Hilltop Cemetery. Mrs. Smith died Sunday in a Hilltop nursing hime after a two month illness. Born March 11, 1888, at Tazewell, Va. she was a daughter of the late Richard and Susie Totten Combs. She was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church. Her husband, James Sanford Smith, preceded her in death. Survivors include two brothers, Erby and Robert, addresses unknown; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Price and Mrs. Eva Henderson, both of New York; two daughters, Mrs. John Alley of Minden and Mrs. J.D. Stone of Montcoal; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 PM today.
