3. | Celia Hall was born in 1778 in Surry County, North Carolina; died after 1860 in Stokes County, North Carolina. Notes: Celia Hall CAN NOT be the daughter of Randall Hall that married Elizabeth Lawson. Randall Hall, according to records was a son in law of John Lawson. He married John's daughter Elizabeth Lawson. Thomas Lawson, son of John Lawson, married Celia Hall. That would make them uncle and niece. I find it hard to believe that close of a marriage would be allowed much less produce healthy children. I have never seen any documentation of Celia's parents, so I don't know why everyone has linked Randall Hall has her father other than he seems to be the only Hall in the area of the right age, but again, the close family relationship does not make the father/daughter connection work. If anyone has any information regarding this please let me know cause I'm stumped.
