    Notes:

It is possible that Jonas' father was John & Judith Lawson. In St. Peter's Parish, New Kent County, Va There is mentions of children being born to John and Judith around the same time as Jonas was born.

Register of St. Peter's Parish, pages 1-20 - New Kent County, Virginia. John, a son to John Lawson, baptized 8 May 1690.

Register of St. Peter's Parish, pages 1-20 - New Kent County, Virginia. Elenor, a daughter of John Lawson and Judith his wife, baptized 10 July 1698.

Around 1709, when Jonas was shown owning land in New Kent County, there are also a John and Nicholas Lawson in the same area. Possibly related, but not sure how.

When Jonas was in Goochland, there is also a David, John and William living there. Assuming they may have all been Jonas sons?

There is no documentation on the birth date of Jonas, but since he is found owning land in New Kent in 1709, we can assume he was born on or before 1688. ~lawsondna.org
