    • Location?: 1802-1804, Montgomery County, Virginia, USA; William is not listed in the tax records for these years, although Micajah is still listed. I could have missed him, film was very hard to read. But seems to have a problem being found to repay a debt...So may not have been taxed that year

Bedford County was formed in 1754 from Albemarle and Luneburg Counties.

    Deed:
Note: Burruss or Irby, or their wifes got the property from Henry Candler, date unknown

    Census 1810:
1 Male 16-251 Male 45+; 1 Female -10; 1 Female 16-25; 1 Female 45+ (this would indicated William had two other daughters besides Elizabeth)

    Died:
Only a guess based on the reasoning in 1810 he was in Montgomery Co. In 1820 the only Wm within range is in Campbell who is too young. Assuming he didnt leave Montgomery and he didn't get missed in 1820 census, he probably died between 1812-20.

    Notes:

    Name:
The fact that Ellender is the daughter of John and Elizabeth is not proven! I also do not know if she was William's first or second wife. The only proof of their marriage was a deed in 1809 Campbell County.
