    • Father's Death: March 1698, Essex County, Virginia, USA; Half Bro, David was appoint guardian of "all the children of Ric'd Holt, dec" In 1704 an attachment was issued against his estate for a debt. David having "illegally absented himself" He evidently left Essex. Anyway, Plunkett was bound out in 1695.
    • Bound Out: 1695-1699, Essex County, Virginia, USA; "Plimeket Holt is bound unto James Boughan untill he arrives to ye age of one and twenty years, ye sd Boughan obliging himself to give ye sd Holt two years schooling when he comes to ye age of ten or eleven years." (Essex order books)
    • Deed: 12 March 1712, South Farnham Parish, Essex County, Virginia, USA; P. Holt son of Ric'd Holt dec'd sells John Boughan for 1600lb tobo. 620a granted Ric'd Holt dec by patent dated 4 Nov 1685 begin @ Kings Swamp below Piscataway Mill.
    • Land Sale: 1713, Essex County, VA; In 1713, Plunkett sold his interest in his father's land to James Boughan
    • Notes: 1724, Essex County, Virginia, USA; Between 1724 and 1742, various court records mention Plunkett in connection with "being absent from his Parrish Church during the months of February, March and April", failure to appear in court for debts assessed to him, and for trespass.

    • Court: 23 Oct 1648, St. Mary's County, Maryland; This depositioner sayth that George Manners did desire Henry Clay to speak to Edward Commins to send him his pestle that he stole. Whereupon this depositioner told him that it was a hard matter to tax a man with such a thing.
    • Court: 23 Oct 1648, St Mary's County, Maryland; But the said Manners made answer again, that he did tax him & would tax him. These words being spoke in this deposition hearing sometime in May last. And further he sayth not. Robert Holt.

    • Court: 1650, St. Mary's County, Maryland; Edward Hudson defaulted on a bond in 1650 and the court allowed Robert Holt to "attach his estate" for the cost. "LAND NOTES, 1634-1655." In Maryland Historical Magazine, Vol. 6:
    • Court: 6 Nov 1651, St Mary's County, Maryland; The St. Mary's court heard depositions concerning domestic problems between Robert Holt and his wife, Dorothy Heywood Holt. Robert reported that Dorothy threatened to murder Him.
    • Land Warrent: 1655, Maryland; Robert Holt was issued a land warrant to lay out 400 acres "in any place within this province southward of Patuxtent River". (Patents ABH.32) Edward (Edmund) Hudson was associated with Robert Holt and was living in the same household.
    • Court: 9 Sep 1658, St. Mary's County, Maryland; Was called afore the Board Robert Holt, & Mr William Wilkinson Clerk, The sd Holt being charged by Mr Attorney wth bigamy & Mr Willm Wilkinson as Accessory in Contryuing the same & prefers this Inditm.
    • Deed: 2 Mar 1661, St Mary's County, Maryland; David Holt of St. Georges requests that this deed is recorded verbatim...Robert Holt do freely give...to my son David Holt one half of the 100 acres called "Randall's Point"..my son David's part

    • Will: 13 Mar 1672, Rappahannock County, Virginia, USA; I EDWARD HUTSON doe make DOROTHY HUTSON my true & lawfull Wife my whole Executor and all moveables & umoveables during her lifetime.
