Wade Comes into Court and makes Oath that John Utley, Jr is the Father of a Male Child named John Born of her body whereupon it is Ordered that a Capias do issue agst the said John Utley Jr
• Land Notes: 1747, Goochland County, VA; Purchased two parcels of land (mentioned in his will) 1. Undetermined acreage from Nathaniel Holeman and 2. 50 acres surveyed for him from Peter Jefferson.
• Inheritance: May 1747, Goochland County, VA; Father in law (John Lewis) divided between daughters and their husbands. See notes for John Lewis.
• Land Sale: 16 Nov 1747, Goochland County, VA; Sister Lucy & husband James Seay now of Amelia Co. sell their share of her father's land to John & wife Anne, for 20 pounds, 120 acres lying N side James River on small creek called "Stony Creek" land that fell by heir of John Lewis, dec'd.
