    • Headright: 2 October 1655, Northampton County, Virginia, USA; Shown as Wm. Hickman on a patent for 850 acres granted to John Dorman on the south side of the South Branch of Anancock, westly on spoone branch parting it from land of Jenkins Pryce for transporting 17 persons (one being William)
    • Deposition: 2 June 1658, Northampton County, Virginia, USA; Wm. Hickman, aged 20 years or there about sworn before us this 2 June 1658. In April being at the house of Walter Price, present Wm. Lawrens carpenter, who acknowledged he was indebt to Price for 900 lbs tobacco. Signed Wm. (his mark) Hickman
    • Will: 8 February 1664, Accomack County, Virginia; William's wife was shown as "my dec'd sister Jane Hickman" in the will of Henry Jones. He named her children Jane Hickman, Joan Hickman & Rachel Hickman
    • Land Patented: 9 October 1667, Arcadia, Accomack Co, VA; Granted 1,000 acres at Arcadia bounded on the east by land of George Watson &c for transporting 20 persons. This was located on the north side of the present road from Parksley to US 13, near, but not extending to US 13.
