    • Land Purchase: 23 Jan 1689, Accomack County, Virginia; Richard Bundick bought 200 acres "near the Seaboard" from Daniel Jenifer for 5600 pounds of good tobacco and cask, land to the north of "the Tann house branch" (Acc Co Wills & Deeds, 1676-1590, p. 491)
    • Deed: 15 Oct 1691, Accomack County, Virginia; Richard Bundick deeded John Barns the 300 acres his father had sold Barns in 1680, relinquishing any title he might have in the land (Acc Co Wills & C Orders, 1682-1697, p. 212)
    • Land Purchase: 10 Dec 1693, Accomack County, Virginia; Richard Bundick bought another 74 acres from Daniel Jenifer, called Gargapha Savannah, for 2400 pounds of tobacco (Acc Co Wills &c, 1692-1715, part 1, p. 69). This land was near the last purchase.
    • Land Purchase: 18 Jan 1701, Accomack County, Virginia; Richard Bundick purchased 299 acres near "Gilford Creek" for 5000 pounds of Tobacco and Casqe" from Edward Nixson, called "Tanner"
    • Tax List: 1704, Accomack County, Virginia; The Quit Rents of Virginia in 1704 shows Richard Bundick of Acc Co, as being taxed for 773 acres.
    • Deed: 25 January 1722, Accomack County, Virginia; Richard Bundick of Accomack planter & Susanna his wife for 20 lbs sold to John Allen Sussex a tract of land on side of Long Love Branch pt of a 1200 tract formerly taken up by Richard Bundick, father of aforesaid Richard.
    • Gift of Deed: May 1728 , Accomack County, Virginia; Gifted 100-acre tract "near Guilford Branch," to daughter Susanna Onions and her husband John Onions & 100a near Gargatha to son Richard.
    • Will: 23 May 1731, Accomack County, Virginia; Son Geo. home plantation of 200a, remainder of land & exec. Son Abbott 100a in the woods near Gargathy. 73 acres on Gargathy Branch to grandson, Wm Pearson. Son Justis 100a near Guilford. Lists 5 living daus. no wife. Owned no slaves.

    Died:
    Susanna's father died in 1729 leaving property to Susanna Bundick's children when they "come to age or marry." He also named Abbott Bundick and Richard Bundick as grandsons and left them slaves, it appears Susanna was dec'd before this time.

    • Headright: 30 Aug 1647, Northampton County, Virginia, USA; Named as headright when John Foster patented 450a. A colonist was eligible for 50a for each person he had paid transport costs from England. The headright would then pay back the cost by indentured servitude.
    • Bond: 28 Oct 1648, Northampton County, VA; Richard Bundick and Dorothy Bundick, his wife, signed a bond with their marks agreeing to pay John Foster for the use of a servant (which would have been Dorothy (N'hamp Co Deeds, Wills, 1645-1651, p. 163).

    • Will: 13 Jan 1663, Northampton County, VA; Left 500 a to a son Issac & of 350 acres to son Thomas "at Pungoteague on the western part of a main branch of said Creek whereon Richard Bundick presently lives"
    • Deed: 23 May 1663, Northampton County, Virginia, USA; R Bundick, planter, & wife Dorothy deed 500a on the S side of Pungoteague Creek to Richard Jacob, dec'd, saying this land had been purchased from Nicholas Waddelaw & they had "received full and valuable satisfaction for ye afsd 500 acres" before Jacob died
    • Land Patent: 12 July 1664, Accomack Co, VA; Granted a patent for 1,400 acres in Accomack County, "at seaboard side beginning at land of Col Edmund Scarburgh, bounded south by Long tone (Long Love) Branch"
    • Note: 1665, Accomack County, Virginia; be there to dispose of her child. It was her desire that Mrs. Jordan & her daughter should have the child to serve them according to the custom of Virginia ... (see notes)
    • Note: 16 November 1665, Accomack County, Virginia; Ruth, the wife of Richard Bundick assigned her illegitimate son John to Dorothy & her dau. Elizabeth. The court assents binding the child according to law. In a letter to "Good Mistress Jordan," Ruth apologies for not being in court, but her husband would
    • Land Sale: 18 Dec 1666, Accomack County, VA; Richard and wife Ruth sold 700 acres in the bottom of the neck to Thomas Fowkes. He married Amy, the widow of Nicholas Waddlelowe. The consideration was "8,000 pounds of tobacco & Cast, the value thereof in hand."
    • Deed: 1667, Accomack County, VA; Richard and wife Ruth made a deed of gift of 200 acres to his daughter Elizabeth Sturgis "next unto ye lands sold to Mr. Thomas ffowkes" (Acc Co Deeds & Wills, 1663-1666, p. 63).
    • Land Patent: 9 Oct 1672, Accomack County, VA; Patented 600 additional acres "Being the surplus within bounds of his 1,400 acres at Arcadia" This block of about 2,000 acres is presently called Parkers Neck. It is bound south & west by Parkers Creek
    • Land Sale: 16 Dec 1673, Accomack County, Virginia; Richard Bundick and Ruth sold 550 acres to John Drummond, stating this was all that could be found of his 9 Oct 1672 patent (Acc Co Wills &c., 1673-1676, p. 104).
    • Deed: 16 Nov 1677, Accomack County, Virginia; Richard Bundick and wife Ruth gave his son Richard 200 acres "next to my son in Law John Sturgis - part of a 1,400 acre Patent" (Acc Co Wills & Deeds, 1676-1690, p. 69).
    • Land Sale: 18 Nov 1680, Accomack County, VA; Richard Bundick and wife Ruth sold to John Barns 300 acres for "tenn thousand ffour hundred pounds of good merchantable tobacco and cask - near Creek called by the name of Arcadia" (Acc Co Deeds & Wills, 1663-1666, p. 236).
    • Will: 1683, Long Love Branch, Sussex, Delware; Sick at the house of Rich Bundock in Sussex Co..To R Bundock & his wife (& others) a divident of land called The Ship Carpenters Yard. (I don't know if they lived in Sussex, but Ruth's 2 sons (prev marriage) did, she petitions court there on their behalf
    • Petitioned Court: 4 August 1692, Northampton County, Virginia, USA; Upon the petition of Richard Bundick order is granted against estate of Eustace Parsons dec'd for the sum of 774 lb tobacco & cask appearing due by account to be paid by the Sheriff out of Parsons estate to be by him sold at an outcry w/cost of the suit.
    • Estate : 29 November 1692, Northampton County, Virginia, USA; Apparently after the Parson's estate was settled 650lbs was still owed to Richard, so Parsons servant boy Will (bound out by his mother) was to be bound to Richard & wife until he was 21. If Richard & wife both died, he was to be returned to his mother.
    • New Will: 9 Dec 1692, Northampton County, VA; He owned no land at this time &called himself "Planter" and he named five children (Richard, Elizabeth, Ann, Dorothy and Grace), each of whom was to receive 100 pounds of tobacco. His remaining estate, after debts were paid, was left to his wife Elizabeth.
