• Fined: 2 October 1667, James City, Virginia; Griffith Dickenson and four others were fined for having erected weirs in the face of the town [Jamestown] contrary to September 10, 1663 Order of the Assembly and were ordered to pay 2,000 pounds of tobacco to the County of James City.
• Court: 26 February 1673, Surry County, Virginia, USA; Thomas Wilkinson asks Mr. Arthur Jordan to appear for him to prosecute action against Thos. Pitman. "The debt was made by my predecessor Griffin Dickinson." Also confess judgement in my behalf to Wm. Wabard.
