    • Will: 15 Mar 1620, Fordington, Dorset, England; I do request assign & appoint...Anthony EAMES...to be wardens assisters and helpers unto my executors aforesaid in what shall be necessary and behovable for the better furtherance and more due execution of this my last will & testament.
    • Church Warden: 1622, Fordington, Dorset, England; Served as Church Warden in Fordington 1622, 1627 and 1631. There were always two churchwardens and these were rotated, one being appointed by the vicar (The Rev Edward Pele) and the other by the parishioners. In either case it was a vote of confidence
    • Church Warden: 1627, Fordington, Dorset, England; One of his tasks, apart from levying rates, would have been to act as a witness on the transcribed parish registers for each year that the Rector had to submit to the Bishop and his name appears on records that survive for the years 1622, 1627, and 1631.
