    • Migration: 1635; Migrated to New England with his father and 1st wife (unknown name). Settled at Hingham, Mass. He would later move to Duxbury (around 1657) and then return to Hingham later in life where he died.
    • Land Grant: 18 September 1635, Hingham, Plymonth, Massachusetts; House lot of 5a , 2a of it butting upon the town street southward & upon pt of his own land & upon pt of Rich'd Betscome's land Northward, bounded w/ land of Thomas Andrews, his father.

    Joseph is the only known child of Thomas Andrews, who sailed with him to America from England. Possible other children left in England or came over at a different date.
