    Notes:

    Birth:
Bedford County was formed in 1754 from Albemarle and Luneburg Counties.

    Deed:
Note: Burruss or Irby, or their wifes got the property from Henry Candler, date unknown

    Census 1810:
1 Male 16-251 Male 45+; 1 Female -10; 1 Female 16-25; 1 Female 45+ (this would indicated William had two other daughters besides Elizabeth)

    Died:
Only a guess based on the reasoning in 1810 he was in Montgomery Co. In 1820 the only Wm within range is in Campbell who is too young. Assuming he didnt leave Montgomery and he didn't get missed in 1820 census, he probably died between 1812-20.

William married Ellender Candler (?) in 1774 in Virginia, United States. Ellender (daughter of John Candler and Elizabeth Gibson) was born about 1757 in Virginia, United States. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
