    • I do not know where Ball came from, but everyone is using it. Her last name was NOT Ball. On her daughters death record, it's stated as Cline. And her mother Gertrude's will clearly states her daughter as Catherine MILLER. Another clue would be the name of her son, Valentine Miller. Catherine's father's name was Valentine, and many times the names were passed down.
