      TWO YOUTHS, Steve Kopaka and Harry Kornatowski, Milwaukee, each 19 years of age, were accused of attempting to rob the Snyder & Barteke food mart at 922 Goold street Friday night, and who are alleged to have admitted robberies of the Sweetman Drug store, 924 Goold; the Hess Packing House market, State street, and four places in Milwaukee, pleaded guilty this morning in municipal court. Judge Elmer D. Goodland adjourned the case until April 11 at 10 a. m.

      Escaping Milwaukee Prisoner Shot, KilledMilwaukee - Harry Kornatowski, 27 year old convicted burglar, was fatally shot by a deputy sheriff Thursday night in an escape attempt. The Milwaukee man died at 8:30 PM after being rushed to County Emergency hospital for treatment. He was shot in the left chest and arm. Deputy Sheriff John Schrank said the prisoner broke away from him and two other deputies on the first floor of the county courthouse while they were taking him to county jail. Shrank said he ordered the prisoner to stop, but shot him to prevent his escape. Kornatowski had just been sentenced to two consecutive terms in the state prison at Waupun of one to five and one to 15 years.
