Born in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Georgia Ray Griffith and a lifelong resident of Russell County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Lee Miller, and five brothers. Survivors: daughters, Betty Ruth Dye, Frances Irene Brown and Bertie Helen Dye, all of Swords Creek; son, Mack Arthur Miller of Swords Creek; sisters, Mrs. Rufus (Mildred) Miller of Salisbury, MD, Mrs. Glen (Lona) Breedlove of Conowinge, MD, Mrs. L.K. (Juanlta) rjosuc of Whaleysville, DE; brothers, Floyd Griffith of Swords Creek, Herbert Griffith of Speedwell, TN; 11 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren: and two greatgreat- grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ancil Childress, Clyde Lambert and David Perkins officiating. Burial followed at Greenhllls Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill.
