  Mrs. Dick Burress of the Bluestone Valley section was operated on at the Bluefleld Sanitarium Tuesday afternoon by Dr. St. Clair. Yesterday evening her condition was reported as favorable. Mrs. Burress is a sister of Frank Waddle, of West Graham and Mr. Waddle visited his sister in the hospital last night. Mrs Burress has been sick for some time and it is hoped the operation will prove permanent relief.
