    DEATH OF MRS JOHN PACK
    The people of this vicinity were shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. John Pack Tuesday night. She was rushed to the Mattie Williams Hospital and was found in a serious condition. She died just a short time after arriving at the hospital. The funeral services were held at Mrs. Pack's home in Baptist Valley Thursday. The Rev. Liston and J.F. Russell officiating. Interment was made in the family cemetery at Doran. Mrs. Pack was a resident of Baptist Valley and before her marriage was Miss Mae Shreves of Doran, Va.

    Mae married John Riley Pack on 12 Oct 1927 in Tazewell County, Virginia. John (son of Fleming "Flem" Pack and Rebecca Jane Burress) was born on 6 Apr 1871 in Indian Creek, Tazewell County, Virginia; died on 7 Jul 1944 in Cedar Bluff, Tazewell County, Virginia. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
