    Mrs. Amanda Cochran, wife of Joseph Cochran of Cliffield, died at her home Sunday Dec 27th. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Willis of Bluefield, Va; Arch of Tazewell; Mrs. Edna Baldwin, Cliffield; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Pruitt of Richlands and Mrs. Etta Brewster of Lenox. Va. two brothers Huffard Brewster, of Tip Top and Calvin Brewster of Richlands. Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Cliffield Church.

    Amanda married Joseph Jeremiah Cochran on 29 Nov 1905 in Tazewell County, Virginia. Joseph (son of David Cochran and Adeline A. Hylton) was born on 26 Feb 1883 in Patrick, Virginia, USA; died on 24 Sep 1960 in Cliffield, Tazewell County, Virginia, USA; was buried in Earls Family Cemetery, Cliffield, Earls Branch, Tazewell County, Virginia, USA.
